CCG Projects
From 2018 to 2025, I had the privilege of working with Champagne Creative Group, a boutique design studio specializing in experiential marketing, décor, special event production, and character design. Their premium concepts, localized creative teams, and five-star national costume library serve clients across the U.S. and Canada. In my role as Head costume designer and builder, I contributed to a wide range of high-impact projects, developing sculptural costumes, engineered walk-about characters, and immersive performance pieces that brought brand experiences and large-scale events to life. marketing, décor, special event production, and character design. Heading 1
Dryad
This project called for an elegant, whimsical stilt-walking character that fit seamlessly into a garden-themed environment, so I designed and built this Dryad creature. The structure is formed with bent PVC tubing, faux foliage, and layered fabrics . The entire piece breaks down for shipping, assembles quickly onsite, and remains lightweight and maneuverable, allowing the performer to interact comfortably and fluidly with guests.
Crystal Set
The Crystal Set gave me the chance to experiment and manipulate materials in new ways. The client asked for something future-forward, optimistic, inspiring, and avant-garde, so I developed a concept built around crystalline forms and iridescent, semi-translucent reflective surfaces. By combining multiple construction techniques, I created a range of textures, patterns, and refractive effects. Each design can be worn as either a walk-about or stilt costume, offering versatility without losing its sculptural impact.
Chrome People
The client wanted a fresh take on the classic mirror costume, so I reimagined it as these liquid-chrome characters. I combined soft and hard sculptural techniques for the hair and face, and developed custom patterning that preserves movement without breaking the sleek silhouette. Stretch and breathable panels keep the design performance-ready while maintaining its futuristic impact.
Living Statues
This video features my Living Statues, created for a client who wanted an alternative to the traditional face-painted approach. The costumes needed to suit a wide range of performers, including those with little to no makeup experience, so I sculpted full headpieces inspired by classical Greek statues. Each piece was engineered to be breathable, lightweight, and fully washable. I initially designed one, but the concept was such a hit that I was commissioned to create four more—making this one of the most enjoyable builds in the series.
Tour Champagne creative Studio
Champagne Creative Group operates from a dynamic creative hub that includes a vast warehouse of costumes and specialty pieces, alongside a full-scale studio workshop. This vibrant environment functions as both a resource center and a playground for innovation. Filled with sculptural materials, fabrication tools, and an ever-evolving library of performance wear.During my years with CCG, this was where I developed, engineered, and built many of my large-scale and concept-driven costumes. The energy of the space—part workshop, part design lab, fostered constant collaboration and experimentation
